| Thanks very much for the information. They did a good job of expediting the 17pdr onto an existing towed chassis (25pdr) but I would have immediately put the gun into the Churchill 3" Gun Carrier chassis of 1941/1942, of which 50 had already been built; long vehicle, good gun platform. This would have been my SP 17pdr vehicle for use against the Tiger, mid-war, not late-war. Thanks again |
